What a fantastic day with Teresa and Cathal over the weekend. This fun couple were married in the Catholic Church and then celebrated with family and close friends at the White Ibis Boutique Hotel. This stunning old hotel has been lovingly renovated to a beautiful function venue, and boutique accommodation.
Teresa looked stunning in a champagne guipure lace and chiffon gown and she and Cathal had chosen the old railway station and a country lane for their photo session.  I loved the boys old  fashioned braces over their white shirts and the bridesmaids had a chosen a pretty soft pastel in different shades and styles.  Not to forget the cute little flowergirl and page boy.

Zillah and Matt, wedding video Lockahrt

Zillah and Matt chose St Joseph's Catholic Church, for their wedding vows. Both are from a farming community and chose Zillah's parents' property gardens and farm buildings as the scene for their location shoot. It was a friendly gathering where 170 guests the celebrated the evening at the Osborne Club.

Wedding table decorations, rustic country

 A fantastic, rustic idea, an old wine barrel to sit your wedding cake on.  The cake is simply iced and trimmed with strips of hessian threaded with string. Simply elegant

Table Decorations - rustic, country, simple

A great idea for wedding and table decorations, second hand books, together with glass jars, a little bit of twine and either florist or garden flowers.  The books can be favors for your guests and are relatively cheap from secondhand book stores.  Ask you family and friends to save their used glass screw top jars, of all shapes and sizes, they don't have to be uniform.  If you or your Mum are handy with floral decorations, you can arrange the flowers yourself, using roses, carnations, greenery such as ivy, bridal veil.  The flowers can be purchased from the local flower stall, florist or picked from Mum's garden or your friends gardens.  Keep to the same colour theme in the flowers and fillers and use a selection of books aimed for both genders, so no-one is left out.
