No-one knew what Tom and Shannon had planned for their special day, from the bride and girls dresses and hair creations and make-up to the reception venue at Downside Hall, they chose a 50's theme and carried if off with spectacular style. The girls had searched for 50's hairstyles and makeup and together with beautiful ballerina gowns they were the image of the Andrews sisters. Tom suggested that some old country farm buildings and landscapes would be perfect for their photos and we found what we were looking for in the Downside area. The hall was decorated with lots of hanging lanterns and rustics candels.

Scott and Sarah chose the cute St Peters chapel at Lake Albert for their marriage ceremony. Scott has been a friend for years and it was a priviledge to be asked to participate in their special day. What a huge week it has been, TRAC Year 10 formal on Wednesday, with the girls looking young, gorgeous and ever so stunning in their short cocktail dresses and the young men very handsome dressed in elegant suits. Wagga High Year 12 graduation on Tuesday night, with the girls very sophisticated in long flowing gowns and the guys looking so grown up. We went with a fantastic group of over 50 people, because we went with the Australian International Eco Tourism group, we were treated like royalty, with gala dinners, street parades, light shows, as well as our own itinerary. After 3 hectic days and travelling I have now fully recovered from the total injection of photography equipment, seminars, and how to's that is PMA.
Although a lot smaller than last time, I found the seminars and classes aimed at both the novice and the professional photographer were fantastic and I gained a lot, received another shot in the arm for the career that I love and came away ready to take on the world.
Not only is the show a great way to network with other like minded photographers, but the classes and lecturers were fantastic, not to mention being able to play with the new equipment and then resist the temptation to blow your gadget budget for the year in one go.
I now can't wait for the wedding season to begin again in earnest in August to start implementing my new ideas and new equipment.

What a week, two families for Kids in Frames shoots. I just love the kids, they relax and have a great time and we all have a laugh and giggle and play games, including the Mums and Dads. The male glamour shoot was great fun. Geoff brought along his snazzy white Toyota sports car, we found an old barn and the shoot was terrific.
The photo shoot with Lauren and her man and little nine month old boy was fantastic. He was such a happy little boy
With only 6 weeks to go Kirsty's baby bump shoot started in the paddock full of long grass and with the wind blowing it was a great natural look.
A photo shoot with a very elegant elderly lady Elaine, on Friday afternoon and a wedding out of town on Saturday finished the week.
Two birthdays, a christening in the family filled up the weeks diary to make it extremely busy.

What a fantastic weekend in Thredbo, Saturday was the wedding, Sunday morning, I took a chairlift up to the top of the mountain, taking photos all the way up, I love the Snow Gums surrounded by snow and on top, the view was spectacular, there was still plenty of snow even though the day was beautiful and Sunday arvo I watched, laughed and took photos of the "skimmers". The "brave" and "cheeky", would ski or tobaggon down the sloped and try to skim across a man made dam filled with water without getting wet, as if!!! They skiied down in their pajamas, boxers, undies and fancy dress. Monday we headed home via Khankoban, stopping at Tom Groggin, lookouts and Paddy River falls on the way.
